PROJECT: TASTE IN COLOUR

HOW WAS IT DONE?

I created “Taste in Colour”, a photography project where I paired fruit and vegetables with bold purple, yellow, green and red backdrops. I personally sourced all the produce, arranged it myself, and used hidden skewers to hold everything together so it appeared to float naturally. I shot the series on my Sony A7 III, lighting from above to minimise shadows and make the colours pop. Afterwards, I edited the images in Lightroom Classic using masks to boost vibrancy and refine the details. This project gave me the chance to experiment with colour, composition and lighting to transform everyday food into striking, graphic-style images.
